Hi everyone,

I am looking to rent a house on the Texas Gulf Coast that has good fishing from a lighted pier. I'm really open to any area in Texas. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks for your help!!!

Arroyo city has rentals with docks. #1 choice by far.

In Rockport there is a place called Little Bay Club that has several cottages, but they also rent a nice 3BR house in Fulton. Very, very nice.

Thanks guys! Pat, is there a particular location where I should focus my search in Arroyo City? I have not been there and am not familiar with it.

Nice people..
Other than finding a house on the intercoastal, (you won't) that's about as good as it gets.

Winter fishing out of there is really good, this will be the first year in a long time I don't go down there, too much to do. *IF* you have a tunnel flats boat, and can get out, send me a PM, I'll give you some places to go.

Thanks Pat! It looks like we are going to give it a go! We don't have a boat, so we'll fish from the docks at night and wade fish during the day.

Channel View condos in Port A has some of the nicest codos on the Island. When the trout are running it is the best lit pier on the island.

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Y-knot rentals in Port mansfield. Outstanding trout fishing and you cant beat the rates. You'll get a lot more house for the money and a lot better fishing.
