This year, in addition to our normal raffle (for contestants only), we will have a side raffle for a G-Loomis GLX & Curado E7 combo. The side raffle tickets cost $1 each and is open to anyone. The tickets will be available for purchase at registration and at the tournament right up to drawing time. And, as always, all net proceeds will go directly to St Jude.

Last year the anglers of the metroplex were successful in raising over $12,000 for the kids at St Jude......Lets make this years event even better!!

Received a few questions in the last couple of days. So to clear things up.................


Q: The rules state that "Off Limits" period ends at 6am, but the park opens at 5am. Will it be a violation to launch at 5:30am?
A:The ruling by the committee is to "Launch at your leisure, but no fishing until official start time of 7am." The "6am" time was a oversight that should have read "5am". You will not be in violation of the rules to launch at 5:30am.

Q: Do I have to be in the weigh-in line at 3pm?
A: No, you only have to be checked-in. There will be an official stationed at the end of the long dock, by the ramp, checking boats in till 3pm. Make sure that you have checked-in with this person if you will not be in the line before 3pm. Otherwise your fish will not be weighed.

Q: If I preregistered, do I need to check-in before the tournament?
A: Yes, you will still need to check-in at either Academy tonight or at the ramp in the morning. You will be issued your weigh-in number & raffle tickets.

If you have any last minute questions, don't hesitate to ask!

so we just show up in the morning and get our number. how were boat numbers selected? how do we know if our check made it through the mail?

Yes, just show up in the morning and get your number. The numbers are only used for identification at weigh-in. You launch at your leisure and don't start fishing until 7am......hence, boat numbers are not relevant.

I am confirming that we received your payment.....shouldn't be an issue. I know we received 4 in the mail.

what happened to the Jezek brothers, they had 13+ lbs?? and Russell Mitchell had big bass of 5.04? where did these results come from?? this looks like last years results.
