Fishing was awesome today! We found and caught fish at just about every spot we looked today! And left the fish biting when we were done! The lake is still in really good shape! Just a little color to the lake right now, but that is normal this time of year on LL. Water temp was around 72 when we left, and the wind was starting to howl! Every school of fish that we found today was relating to one of two main lake structure items=ledges and humps from 25'to as deep as 40'! Electronics are so so important right now as well as knowing the structure that you are tring to locate your fish on. The fish are depth and structure specific right now around the lake! Now with that being said, that doesn't mean that they will stay in one spot all day, They are still moving around "alot" chasing there food source! But when you find them you can really wack'em fast and furious! Weather they are Hybrids and/or Sandies! We caught somewhere around 100-120 Sandies and around 20 kepper Hybrids today! But only kept 5 nice keeper Hybrids and some Sandies for there fish fry dinner with there family tonight. We were using 1.5oz little shad LEAD BABIES SLABS (chartreuse) and FLY-BY-NIGHT-FLIES (chartreuse and white) worked as well! DO NOT GO OUT THERE USING LITTLE PEE WEE SIZE BAIT! Because that is exactly what you will catch all day, pee wees!

David great report.
I also went out this afternoon, and had good luck , tons of sandies and few good hybrids also, the wind picked up from noon till about 6:00ish and then i headed in .... sounds like we were fishing the same spots... your dead on about the electronics being vital right now..
Ran in to Don the angler at the ramp, great guy, had a lot of fun talking and fishing with him this afternoon...we covered a lot of the south lake locations and found lots of fish....
great trip for my first trip to LL....

My trips to Lewisville don't resemble anything like that.
