Just got off work, contemplating an afternoon at the lake. I have some things to do this evening so I wouldnt get to fish but a couple of hours.

Last I saw Sunday was supposed to be 15 to 20mph NW winds with gusts to 30. On Tawak that translates to 30mph NW wind with gusts to 45 LOL.

Good luck out there this weekend on the good lakes. Doubt I'll be able to make it out to Lavon or Twak this weekend. So I'll try to get out to LL again and see if I can find something that is working. That lake has really been putting a beat down on me the last few trips out in trying to find the bigger fish.

I have been out there many times on those kind of days. Fish for about 2 hours, fight wind for 2 hours, tuck tail and go home I would much rather fish than do honey-dos

There are plenty of places to hide from the wind out thar!

The release is slowing down...almost to pool...just in time for a post cold front slow down.

A few more of those cold fronts coming in to cool the water more and it should be on again if it doesn't rain and make the lake rise a bunch again. Man, they just love to constantly let water out of that dang lake for some reason. Drives me nuts.
