That's the best fish I've ever seen come out of there.

He came out of the far back L shaped pond. I always have good fish out of there but he is by far the largest. I consistently pull 2-3 pounders out with cranks and topwater.

They are a lot of fish that size in there, they get fat from eating all those trout TPWD stocks in the winter. There is a big drop off by the gazebo that a few heavy weight always hang out at. Nice catch by the way.

Yeah he went back. I think I may have hooked him again since, lost him, though.

I'm thinking I caught him or his stunt double about a month ago. I caught 5 fish over 5 pounds that evening on the fly rod.

Went out last night, could only manage 5 total. All were 2lbs or less. Need to figure out what to fish with, i was pulling up grass on every cast.

I spent about 6 hrs today at Bethany. I caught 8 total and my trusty little pocket scale said one was 5, there were two 3's and the others were all 2's and 1.5's. It was a really good day lol.

Also have luck often with weightless wacky rigged anything really, cranks, topwater hits are vicious late evening, and creature craws T-rigged and fished slowly but with very exagerated movements.
