Welcome to SA and the forum. There are a ton of great fishing spots in the area. One of the best is the Guadalupe River around Canyon Lake and New Braunfels. If your interested check out the SA fishing group on Google. Just click the link in my signature to check it out. Just make sure if you join that you post regularly and contribute. KUJO the group leader runs a pretty tight ship.

Good job Cypher as always. The Guadalupe is by far one of the best wading rivers in the area. There is also the Frio and the Blanco as well. Even some of the creeks such as the Cibolo and Leon can be good at times. Any way San Antonio has a lot of areas to fish that are very easy to get to. Good luck.

Thanks Banker.
If you get a chance in the next few weeks we should go kayaking on the Guad. I have an extra yak for the time being and just got a new job where I pretty much pick and choose my own hours, as long as nothing comes up. Maybe USMC Mike can bring his canoe too. Obviously this would be after the flood waters receed.

I'm up for it. My wife's car caught something in the oil pan and it got shredded. Looks like about $600 bucks for repairs. I will be down one vehicle for a little while but would like to go out some time and hit some of the local rivers/lakes I haven't gotten to yet. I would just need to try and hit a day she is off work and doesn't need the truck: she works weird hours.

Sounds like a trip in the making. Hey Mike I have got a truck and it can haul your Canoe with no problems. Lets see if we can work it out. Also Robert AKA "Daffaman" may want to join as well.

Sounds like a plan. I have a truck too Mike. So we could even do a one way trip.

I don't have the flexibility in my work schedule for a couple more weeks but after that I'm free. I love the new job BTW. Hope it stays that way even when the "new" wears off.
