fishing has remained good to excellent for the last month for 1-4 pound average with a 5-6 pounder here and there all on topwater but today was a great day for some good size stripers. fish in the 4-10 pound range just nailing the plugs and pulling hard. took a few shots but the rain was to intense to have the camera out much and alot of 24-28 inch fish got to swim away to fight another day.

the boys weren't the only ones hooking up. we got our butts kicked for awhile lol.

At times it was pretty gnarly! sorry for the wet pics the rain drops were pounding the camera and also on another note that is my new 250 4 stroke i just got last week. glad to have the Falcon back

Nice report Chris. Trying to get some vacation time to come back up in mid-October. Hope to see you. Oh, btw my buddies ended up going back up there 3 times that week after we spoke & one of them landed a 14#er, 34.5". Bet she may have gone closer to 18# in the springtime. Nice fish on a topwater. Thanks for helping them out!
