that is, when I bother to clean the blood off ... methinks it adds good juju and killer karma for the fishing gods to see all that fish blood! They think "Here is a man who knows his stuff, let's send him more fish!!"

From my experience detailing boats use something that is safe for the water like simple green works wonders and is enviro safe.Roll off is good too.

Also remember to keep wax on whole boat makes cleaning easier.Alot of stuff will dry out the fiberglass and then oxidation sets in.

I just use some car wash soap n wax and brush it on, the hose it off. Keeps as clean as anything and helps keep it shining.

The BEST thing I have found is the StarBrite non-skid deck cleaner and a stiff deck brush!!!! I pick it up @ Academy. Little bit goes a long way & you do have to scrub it some, but it picks up the ground in dirt & does not leave a slippery deck behind. I use it about once a month. I do use a magic erasure on any black marks that I see (especially on the non -textured parts of the boat). BTW, my pathfinder has a completely white deck with a non slip texture & it shows every bit of dirt!

For dried blood, I have tried comet/ soft scrub with bleach, and even tried hydrogen peroxide. All three work, some better than others depending on my luck that particular day.
