Well we're impressed with your expensive reels you must be so proud.Never been to chase oaks so don't know where that came from. But any way good luck with your expensive reels.I hope you catch many fish at the denison dam.Or whatever creek you fish.Enjoy [quote=Judge Smails
You made the boat reference, suggesting that everyone that fishes the tailrace is beneath you since you fish out of a plastic boat. Can dish it, but can't take it I see... I know of another guy like you.... I hate his monkey a$$.LOL

Wow, page 183! I was on this thread 7pm yesterday, it was on page 180. Just came back from fishing, and 3 more pages to reads. I love this thread! All the regulars on this thread are here to help, if asked in proper manner. We get tons of information about DD fishing in this thread. Recently fishing at DD is slow, due to water turned over. Eventhough there is not much to talk about DD fishing, we still like to log-on this thread to BS each other. That is one way to have friends connected. We welcome everyone coming across this thread. But for those rude people, they will not get kind response. I did not fishing at DD today. The generation will start from 6pm to 10pm. So I went to lake side. I knew that fishing would be slow before I go. NE wind. This is not very good fishing from TX side. Started fishing at 8:30am. Very slow start. The water was so calm. Did not see "boiling water" at all. I did not get a single bite for the first 30 minutes. I kept moving around, around, and around. The rain started to pour down. So I decided to try my "sweet spot" after all. Voila! Within 30 minutes, I caught 12 fishes. The bad news, all the fishes are still skiny. The good news, they are healthier than the fishes I caught last week, and fishes stop dying now. When the rain stopped, the bites stopped. I stay there for more than 3 hours, caught 20 fishes. That's all. Much much slower than two weeks ago.

I used the same lure since I started fishing lakeside 4 weeks ago. I forgot to bring the lure u recommended. I should try something different, just to see if it worked. I certainly want to go back fishing at DD. I like to pop for some big mamas. Haha.

That's what I thought. Haha. The water got a little muddy after rain. Fishes move little deeper, and they became bottom suckers, just like carps.

BetterBet, did u go back to try lake side again? Last week was very slow. Today was a little better because of the rain. Tommy and me, we did catch variety of fishes there: stripers, sandies, smallmouth bass, and large mouth bass, on the same lure. man there are some huge [censored] stripers on the shoreline..

The fish don't bite cause the water is too wet.
