I am wanting to take my nephews fishing next weekend and was hoping someone could give me some advice on how and where to catch some catfish on Braunig Lake.

If you have a boat, then go to the upper end of the lake and fish against the windblown reedbeds in about 2-5 feet of water or up against the dam. Use cut shad or stinkbait about 2-3 feet under a bobber. I am sure there are other ways but that has been successful for me.

That has worked for me as well. The reeds by the inlet about 900 yards off bouys sometimes are generous. What time of day are you going as that makes a difference as well. Im sure USMC_GY_09 would agree with that as well. smile
