Very nice and just in time for some fall topwater action or late summer night fishin. I knew when we saw them at your shop they were going to be special baits when you released them.

Have you fished these on braid? Just wondering because I had some of another brand down at Falcon that broke at that bend above the head. These were 7-9 lb fish on 30lb braid...

It wasn't a Shibui Buzz.

Anytime a bend is put to wire, it weakens at that point. That's why we choose our alloys and tempers carefully and use only those that have been developed to minimize that stress. In addition if the bend was made with tools that nicked the wire, a stress crack was born before you ever took the bait out of the package. We take care with our wire and tooling so our baits have optimum performance and durability.

No Andi I can not until the next Aviation Tournament in April. I'm working an aircraft maintenance contract in Africa/ Abuja, Nigeria. I will be at Lake Fork next week for the BBS and Bob Sandlin for the TFF Soldier Q N Fish event.

JR, I have fished this buzzbait on 65 lb braid and havent had any issues with fish up to about 5 lbs. I wish I could tell you how they handle 9-10 lb fish...
