Had a chance to go out with Chase and Gary last night at Tawakoni. With my BIL and nephew. What a great time. We only boated 4 fish but it was fun. Marked a lot of fish and did a few drifts and caught some. Largest bing +/- 6-7 lbs. Anchored up for a bit and had some pretty good line pullers but no hook sets. All in all it was great. At least we were fishing and I learned a lot in the process. Two really great guys to fish with. (my nephew said after we left "man those are some cool guys!" Looking forward to doing it again. Thanks again guys!! thumb

If you're fishing and having a good time, then its a night. I enjoy being around more experienced catter just so I can learn additional tactic and tricks.

I had a really good time fishing with yall last night. I didnt even have to get the knife out and cut any lines either stir I wish we could have boated some more fish and some bigguns to boot, but summertime can be a tough time to get the big blues. Come back this winter and we will get you a shonuff biggun. fish I enjoyed it greatly and can't wait to do it again.

Had a good time out there until my tilt/trim motor crapped out on me at the end and we had to turn the release valve and lift motor by hand at the ramp. Good talking to you out there Gary and appreciate the help on trying to learn that arm of the lake better. We caught some good quality fish out there just no big ones either. It's tough to complain though when most of the fish you do catch are 5 to 8 lbs though. It was really nice weather to fish in except when the wind totally died on us during midday and it got a little warm. I had a good time fishing with Larry and getting revenge on that butt kickin he gave me last March. He took a beat down out there yesterday.

I remember Chase was on the phone with you about it. That sucks man. Hope it's a cheap fix.

Little bit of trash talking. It was going to be a fight to the rod that slammed the water. And we all had our control items ready to go.

I enjoyed fishing with you out there Eric, and that depthfinder is awsome, If you ever get that thing down you will be dangerous on the catfish waters, I am glad you got to catch some fish, and I did catch 1 all by myself and thanks for letting me put one in the boat for you, I ain't mad at you though, I always liked to watch the kids catch them little fish, just kidding, those were some nice fish,

We will go get some bigger ones next time, sure hope your boat ain't too hard to fix!!!

And I would like to say thanks to Gary for some tips on where to fish, that lake is incredible, we were spoiled there last year and kind of returned to reality yesterday, We know it's just fixin to start and we will see you out there sometime soon!!!

Good Luck to Ya!!!
