How the heck do you keep your boats clean especially the inside floor. I have to scrub with a scrub brush like cinderalla after one day on the lake. Car wash wont work tried that. you guys fish everyday whats your secret. mine starts out clean then after ten minutes its filthy.

I'm not a guide but I take mine to a car wash by my house and use the high pressure soap and it does the job. The water needs to be hot though which it is on the soap setting. I tried another place and noticed the soapy water wasn't hot and it didn't clean the boat so I won't be going back to that one. Just my .02

I am not a guide and have the same issue. What I find helps is no shoes allowed period especially during the summer months. For the tought to remove stuff WD 40 does a good job. Here in the next few weeks I am going to take mine into the detail shop.

I am not even close to being a guide but... a little spray bottle with bleach will keep her nice and shiny. wink
Just spray and wash down with lake water. A magic eraser is great for the stubborn scuff marks some shoes can leave. Bare feet in the hot summer sun is no fun! cool
It's hard to keep it clean while your slinging fish over the side and have slime and a little blood everywhere.

Im not a guide either, but my boat gets plenty dirty. I use StarBrite non-skid deck cleaner and a stiff deck brush. Works like a charm. I also use a magic eraser to take off black shoe marks.

A good stiff brush and some simple green. I use it everyday on my boat. The other secret is cleaning every day. I scrub mine down after the fish are cleaned and customers are gone. I like to start every trip with a clean boat. Just good customer service.

Power Washer, Oxi-Clean and a Brush!

Wash it down after every trip and use the Power Washer periodically. Oxi-Clean is as good as it gets!

I use simple green and a scrub brush. I used to clean it after every trip but it got old. I don't let it get to nasty but I don't scrub it but about two or three times a year. I do wash it at the car was every time though.

The very best remedy I have found, to keep my CC clean is my 15 year old son and his buddies that want to fish.

I usually take mine to the car wash once a week and it does the job pretty good. My main problem was the boat would sit forward (all the water went to the front of the boat) when i pulled it into the car wash. So I got a couple of those ramps, the ones you sit in front of your wheels and drive up on. Then just put the back wheels up on those, and go to town with the soap. It does a pretty good job, and its fast!

When I really want it detailed, i pay the neighbor kids 20 bucks to come wax it and clean it really good with stern to keel..... or some boat cleaner like that.

The tire cleaner at the carwash will take off almost anything from hard water stains and road grime to blood. Don't let it sit very long or it will also knock some of the shine off your gelcoat. I usually hit mine with wax after 2 or 3 washes.

Or you could get Safe Floor installed and the stains on the floor won't show.

I let mine get really dirty. Then when I wash it, no matter how clean it gets, it looks tons better LOL.

I use Magic Eraser knockoffs from Wally World. Just got done cleaning my boat about an hour ago and it looks like new with very little work. There are no stains too tough for those erasers, well except for the stain that Sally Sue from 8th grade put on my heart frown

Man I’m planing on my boat to get totally ugly every day – Yep I clean it every day.

You do so much better cleaning it as soon as you can – just after I clean fish for me. AS SOON AS YOU CAN.

I scrub, scrub, scrub and use a brush on the floor - it's no secret.

It’s an everyday thing – DO NOT WAIT and let it set up – DO IT NOW - as soon as you can - If you wait just one day - you will regret it!

It takes a little elbow greese - but the sooner the better,

Use Oxy-Clean if you have too but if you fish and clean everyday you won't have too - and that will be easier on your boat,

The best way to keep clean has been said earlier......clean it after every use. The longer fish blood and slime is dried on the boat - the harder it is to get off. I carry a stiff brush with a long handle on the boat while I fish. I dip it in the lake and clean off any blood the gets on the boat immediately.

Now, when the floor just isn't looking white enough for me - I use COMET or the knock off brand from a dollar store (usually .50 or less) and water. Wet the floor, give it a light powder and light scrub, then let it set a few minutes. After that, you can scrub about anything off quick. It works better than bleach and Simple Green.

I found a great scrub brush at Home Depot works great with a little muscle behind it. But since I retired, my boat never gets dirty

cathog is right!
One time I posted here and someone replied with "Wow what a clean guide boat" it was one of the few days where it was really clean. We do the best we can, like said before as soon as you can, with a brush and soap, bleach will harm too many things if you use it every day, but the reality is if you are catching a lot of stripers or cats your boat will get really dirty.

I'm not a guide, but I have found Scrubbing Bubbles and a powerwasher gets almost every thing clean enough.
