Anybody make the opener of Dove Season this morning. Talked with my buddy "BeltonBanger" @ 9am, and was told he was limited out and on his way home. I can't make it until the weekend, but will be working on them at that time.

Anybody go and have any luck... keith

PS: Spent last sunday putting out 8 Bamboo Brush Piles. So we are going to work on the Dove for a few weekends. Also got to meet the Game Warden on Sunday. Nice guy, just happen to be admiring our work, while we were admiring his work. Everything was legal. Like to see them on the job.

We put them right next to the ones you put out last month.

But we were on our 24' Pontoon Barge, and didn't have our GPS. Shoot me the location of your Boo, so I will remember where we put ours. I just hate switching boats. But it is great having FRIENDS to help a guy out. cheers

Just PM me, we don't want just anyone knowing our business... rolleyes

" I NEVER MISS " .....the opening day of dove season, I did miss the first 24, why is it always the last shell in the box that is the "lucky one"...I never bring enough boxes to limit out..they were fly-in good in Rockwall......I just like shooting anything, or shall I say shooting "at" anything......

Keith, My son and I shot our limit by 9:30. We hunted in denton county.there were an ok amount of birds but not as amny as last year. By the way i have about 25 pairs of white wings living in my trees here in the colony and my wife sure would like for us to take care of the "little bastar-ds that [censored] all over my car". These guys are as big as pidgons. I have shot at least one white wing while hunting in each of the last 3 years.
Good Luck to all of you and be safe. mark
