well, bass pro shops got some money for diamond jigs last night. hammered, and chrome.. just 8oz. i figure I have enough heavy knife jigs if the current is strong. hopefully that wont be a problem time to restock the topwater lot now! already got a call in to Ocean Tackle! i figure I only need 5 black/blue ones- to go with the big ol box of assorted ones I bought a year ago LOL! :)maybe a little macaroni thrown in the mix next month

I am gonna buy a couple macaroni's to try out. Still want to buy 2 more Shibuki's so I have 5 on had.

I ordered some Maguronis through Amazon and they were delivered in about 2 - 3 days.

I think side by side you will see that the Shibuki is of higher quality but the Maguronis are decent. Especially for the difference in price.

Two things about the Prefishin Meal..

1. I wont be able to make it because the closest flight I could get to the trip from Abuja to DFW puts me at DFW at 3PM Thursday Nov 4th and it will be near midnight by the time I get to Fisherman's Wharf. If anyone want to leave mid-day Thursday and Carpool let me know.

2. I'm putting Margarita Joe and TxGriz in charge of buying Willie/ TOO a Shiner Bock at the meal. It's traditionally mine to buy but I'm passing it on this one time.
