We need some fish in here fellers unless some of you are waiting towards the end of the month to post them. I've been busy at the lease trying to get ready for opening season but I'm trying to get out there Saturday to do some feeshin. I'm kinda S.O.L right now until I get my scales back from the certifying place. Guess I'll have to buy a back up set.....

So am I right in thinking I am the only one who has turned in a fish so far? Guess that means I would win all three places!

I am sure I will have something to post soon. I am heading out for another round on Tawak at about 1pm. I plan to fish til dark. I hope they are in the same place I found them on Sunday but this time of year you never know. I do have a fish to submit but I dont want to submit it just yet, it is kind of embarassing I just knew I would already have a 30+ to submit by now but the bigger fish just haven't cooperated yet.

I had a 11.6 a week ago and I posted the pic just to aggrivate Zachery the Carp Fisherman, but I didn't take a pic of the scales, that might have taken 2nd place behind your 18 lb-er, but I doubt it!!!

Well i have one to post two but its a little embarrassing also but it might take second right now may go ahead and swallow my pride and post it.

I was counting my chickens last night. I had a surf pole double over and peel drag last night only to watch the big cat roll on top the water about 70 yards out and break my 30 lb big game. Oh well next week I guess lol. I'll submit a fish over 5 lbs this month guaranteed

I was just trying to stir a lil $h_t up. Been awful quiet around here since fishing started. Very seldom even hear from sugar britches LOL

We all had dreams of boating 50 lb fish a month ago and so far they have been just dreams lol

I am still dreaming, I have even seen it on the depth finder, I just can't get it or any of it's friends to bite rite now!!!

water temps have been up and down along with levels. They are so mixed up and scattered it will be a week or so for them to calm down depending on lakes. I know the ones around here all went up from 6-10 feet over night. Great but now all the gates are open on the dam's and letting the water out as fast as possible so water levels are going down fast. That really mess's up fishing as well as a fast temp fall.

you all quit whining! i had the winning fish and gave it to somebody else!!!LOL

Alright I know the suspense is killing yall so here is my story. I got off work today about noon and decided to do a little fishing. Bait was really easy at the ramp, 4 throws yielded about 4 dozen big gizzard shad and about a dozen gills. I went to a spot that I found the fish at Sunday, they were still there so I set up on them. About 20 minutes into it one of my rods goes down HARD. I knew by the way the rod was bent it was going to be a submittable fish It rolled about 30 yards from the boat and when I saw the tail slap I knew it was at least 40+. Finally got it to the boat and in the net and when I lifted it in the boat I knew it was really close to 50 or better. I took the scale pics no problem by myself because my scales will hold the weight on the screen. The pic with me and the fish and control item was different story. I tried to set the camera up a few different ways to no avail. I looked over and saw a pontoon boat tied up to a tree about 500 yards away so I covered the fish up with a wet drift sock and over I went. Come to find out they were TFF'ers and didnt mind at all taking the pic. I got the camera and it wouldnt come on, I left it on while running over there and the batteries were dead. Luckily I thought ahead and had some more fresh batteries. They took the pics for me and I released her full of piss and vinegar to grow up. The fish was caught in 17.5 foot of water on a big gizzard shad head. Now for the pics:
