Does anybody know of a specific anchor used on the jetties that is supposed to hold your boat but easy to get back on board from those anchor-eating rocks? Thanks.

The grappling hook type anchors work best. They have 'em at Academy. http://www.academy.com/index.php?page=co...0109-03839-0016

The digger anchors are great. They work well in the bay and the jetties. They don't get lost and they keep some of the mud out of the boat. www.diggeranchor.com

Do you have anyone that can weld (or secure extremely well)?

My last fishing guide (and only guide in my books) had an anchor made out of re-bar... 4 re-bars welded together half way up, then they were bent down in each of the 4 directions....

He mentioned that if it gets stuck, he pulls for a second and the re-bar bends... Cheap and very effective....

Go to the coast.. in Port A there is a hardware shop with these a LOT less expensive and they will hook you up with a rebar one with chain etc...lot less.
