Big Boys BBQ in Sweetwater,,, absolutely fantastic. Some of the best ribs I've ever ate. KD's in Midland is a close 2nd.

the best one is in austin... I haven't been to the one in Leon Valley, but of the 3 or 4 I've been to, Austin's is the best.

Coopers and Rudys are about the same quality to me. If I had to choose one over the other, I think I would choose Rudys.

bill miller bbq - is pretty nasty but cheap. they got a good thing going with that little bar of free complements. it seams i alway get full off that darn bread and never the plate i order.

gotta second the bill miller tea... not bbq. slabs in mesquite across from lowes is good. any old school folks here that have eaten at the Spare Rib in greenville. retired and closed now, but was the standard at one time.

Rudy's in Del Rio is pretty good especially after a full day on Amistad.
Check "Coopers BBQ" for who really owns them. The original in Llano is the only real Coopers, the others are imitations. There are Coopers all over the Hill COuntry, from Mason, to Junction and all the others mentioned but, none are the original.
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!
