Come join the Fort Worth Fly Fishers as we present "Summer Spool!" This will be a special day of activities, that can benefit all fly fishing enthusiasts! There will classroom sessions, presentations, guest speakers, and much more. Will run from 9-1, and one can stay for lunch, and fish afterwards.

hey gang, to update everyone on the event. it will be hot!!! dress accordingly. water, drinks and ice will be provided.

you will need to bring if you want:

fly rod, and stuff??
a chair
a hat
plan to car pool. parking may be an issue. so please plan on carpooling!!!!
plan to be there at 9am.
follow the google map that was provided, and follow the signs
listen to the promo for the event on KLIF this monday am, at 6:40 am
and plan on having fun!!!

Fort Worth Fly Fishers had a successful day!! thanks to everyone who came out to help. besides the estimated 70 usual club members who came out, or helped, we reached out to 30 non-members, many who are going to join, and 15 were tortured, i mean tutored by the casting specialists. it was hot later in the day, but the event went off without a hitch!!! interview was at 5:50, and Franklin Pillsbury came out from KLIF to check out the event. it was good to see everyone, and friends, too!!! a good day
