We are putting together a winter big cat fishoff. This is an online tourney. We are planning on doing a monthly payout with an end of season Grand Champion. The plan is to run it monthly from September through March. Entry fees will be $5 per month which can be paid monthly or all up front, this way the pots are small so there shouldnt be any cheating. We will pay 2 places per month with a 60%/40% split. There will be a control item that will have to be legible in the picture with the fish submitted, there will also need to be a scale pic that can be read also. Weights will be rounded up or down to the nearest pound. In the event of a tie pots will be split evenly. Upgrading in a month is accepted. Fish must be a catfish of any species, R&R only, and must be caught in a Texas public water body. Any TFFer is eligible for this fishoff. My only question is for the Grand Champion, should we do this for the biggest fish caught or the most consistent monthly placer for the season? might be interesting for the grand champion to be total aggregate weight throughout the tourny not actually to have won any pots necasarily. but one fish a month in total.

Money needs to be in 2 days before the beginning of the next fishing month to be included for the months contest. The control item will be posted by 5pm on the last day of the preceding month of fishing. By the way, contestants will be randomly selected to come up with a control item(saying, number, or whatnot), this way I can fish in it and do not know what every months control item will be.

Anyone know how I can mount this in a boat? It's the only scale I can find that will be able to handle my fishes weight.
