Great Price and looks like I will be getting me 2 of these once they are available to the public

I like the design,but need to hear how it stacks up...If it is effective and easy to remove, that might move me into the market...I do the anchor thing for bedding fish, and would love an option that is not always in my partners way....

I like the fact that it does not sit as high as the power poles.

+1, looks cool, but not that cool.

2 Bolts and unplug the power connection and it off the boat. That's part of the self-contained system easy to install and remove.

I'm getting and extra bracket so I can use on my duck boat in the fall when not fishing. Only need one pole for two boats. The coastal guys could do this too if they have a freshwater and saltwater boat - quickly change Talon to the boat they need to use it on.

Doug,will there be a bracket you can attach to the jackplate, so you dont have to drill any holes in to the transom?

I'll probably get two of them to go with my Powerpole. They talk about doubling down, I will triple down. Heck, I might get 4 and quadruple down plus 1. that's got to be better. I will be a pier.

I have added more information to my New Product Page on the MinnKota Talon. Look at the bottom there is a list of accessories available including offset brackets that can be placed in front of the motor on the jackplate and the quick disconnect for power.

I like my power pole but really like the design of this one.
