fish

Does anybody have any helpful fishing advice as to where on Medina Lake, what lures choices and techniques they have used to catch fish there in the Summertime. I am spending a few days there in the second half of August.

Medina Lake is a deep clear rocky lake with very little vegetation. There is a lot of big deep hardwoods. If you are on the lake at first light there are some topwater fish to be caught. After the sun comes up go deep with small plastics.

Being that Medina Lake is a clear lake the fishing is a little tough. However you can catch fish, try to fish small plastic, ie flukes and small senko's could help you out on those tough days, color watermelon red always work along with watermelon candy. Have a sucessful trip.
