I'm hoping to get out there and try some evening bass fishing and was wondering how the bite is? Anyone have tips or suggestions?

I did once, years ago. I remember we found a hump fairly far off shore and hammered them on dark tubes for hours. Brings back memories.

I think it's only been taking 1 fish to win the friday night jackpot's. That should tell you all you need to know.

Alot of folks on here who fish the Friday night jackpots. Been slooooww this year since the water came up. No one has brought more than 1 fish to the scales in a couple months. I fished it for the first time last week and you coudlnt see your hand in front of your face. My advice - fish it only on a full moon.

Thanks for the help guys. Doesn't sound too promising but I'll probably give it a try. The lake is only 15 minutes from my house.
