Hey guys
I just found out that Texas Marine in Conroe is no longer a Ranger dealer. Anyone know why?
Also, anyone know who the closest Ranger dealer is to Houston now?

Good luck friend. I was in the same boat here in DFW until Cabelas started dealing Ranger. Your best shot is going to be Jasper - Dawson Marine

I thought Dawson had gone out of business?!?! I know the store on 45 South is closed. Ranger's website lists Dawson Marine in Jasper and Beaumont and Marine Outlet, Inc. in Temple. Stratos's website lists the same dealers. Good luck.

Dawson would only take the Ranger dealership in their 5 locations if Ranger would pull existing competition. Ranger did. Texas Marine was one, Terry's was one. Big dealers in, little dealers out. Big business rules.

So Dawson went belly up, relieved themselves of some debt, sold their skeeter inventory to Texas Marine, then Texas Marine picks up Skeeter. So, in the last 10 years, Dawson has handled Champion, Skeeter, and now Ranger? Is Dawson out of Bankruptcy or what?

Its just amazing to me that you can go bankrup and leave millons never to be paid again and be back in business again. I wonder how many people went under because of all the money he owes.

wrong about the same people owning these stores- it's two people that owned none of the Skeeter stores -so it's not so amazing that the new stores are opened and have new owners selling Rangers among other brands
