Wave Away is a new company and our first product is a sonar and gps screen cleaning kit. The kit comes with a spray bottle of cleaner and a cleaning cloth. It's a cleaning solution that's designed specifically for LCD screens so you don't have to worry anymore about using a product that will damage your screen.

We will be giving away some free samples in the next few days. Please log onto www.waveaway.com and leave your information on the "contact us" page. We will send free samples to the first 10 people that fill out this form. All I ask is that you try it out and let me know what you think, maybe tell your friends what you think too.

Thanks,
Chris Lambert

Hope Im one of the top 10. I was actually looking for something easy to use and store like this a few days ago. Is the solution and cloth safe to use on Humminbird graphs?

Matt,

Thanks for the question. This cleaner is awesome! It cleans ALL LCD screens. It can be used on t.v.'s, computer laptop monitors, mp3's, etc. It also cleans sunglasses really well too! It will clean your Humminbird unit just fine and your sample will go out tomorrow.

We have always needed something that would remove water spots on the screens and sunglasses. This sounds like the perfect product to carry in the glove box! I know that sometimes I will have oil from the worms on my fingers and do something with the depth finder or GPS and see that I left my fingerprints on the screen. Takes a while to get it all off with a handkerchief.

Hey guys,

Thanks for response on Wave Away. I received about 20 requests for samples and they will all go out today. You can buy our sonar and gps screen cleaner from our site at www.waveaway.com or visit one of our dealers that's listed on the site as well.

Thanks,

Chris I wanted to say thanks for the product, I just received my bottle of Wave Away. I do not own a boat at this time sold it 4 years ago to get funds to have start up money for the J C Outdoors Tournament Trails. I will place it in my tackle bag and share it with the multiple boats that I get to fish out of and try to get you some customers.
Thanks again and I will be trying it on my laptop, I-phone and sunglasses as well.
Blessings:
Mark Howard

Today I received some Wave Away cleaner i tested it on my Lowrance x25 and Humminbird 997. To be honest the lowrance is easier to get clean of water spot however my humminbird has 2 water spots I have yet to get those off since my first trip to the lake with it. So here was my results. I first tested this on my lowarance. I did not clean the screens from a lake trip a couple days ago and they were pretty spotted up. I applied and used the included micro fiber cloth and it came clean. Well I have to say that was expected never had a issue getting it clean before. Now was the real test I pulled out my humminbird and it was in need of a good cleaning. Now on this screen I have used LCD screen cleaners and wipes and my cure all sprayaway and its always come clean except 2 small spots. Knowing this I sprayed on the Wave Away and let it sit for 60 seconds per the directions. After wiping cleaner off the screen was clean and both stubborn spots i failed to clean prior was now gone. I give this 2 thumbs up. The pics show before and after one pic looks like streaking but it must of been the flash there is no streaks..Great product Chris...

I bet I cleaned a dozen screens this weekend on Ivie with my sample bottle I got in the mail. One guy said he had an old Humminbird that had some water spots he bet me wouldn't come out. Said they had been on it for 3 or 4 years. Wish I would have bet him some money. It did take two cleanings and letting it sit on the screen for about a minute before I buffed the second time. But, 100% of the spots and the black grime line around the permiter of the screen where it hit the frame were gone! Man, this stuff worked on every single GPS and depth finder we tried it on!

I saw all the positive responses and went to your site with the intent to buy. I decided not to buy because of the price. I'm sure it's a great product, but $15 (not to mention S&H) for less than 3 ounces is a little steep IMO.
Just my thoughts, make sure you don't price yourself out of your market.

I appreciate the advice but it's priced very competitive if you look around at other screen cleaners. One bottle should last a guy about 2 years so I think $15 is pretty fair. Especially considering most of us drop $15 on a Luckycraft crankbait that could be lost on the first cast....I've done that! You can also buy it from one of my retailers listed on my site and avoid having to pay shipping. All of my online retailers have free shipping on moderate sized orders.
