The Lake Whitney tournament was a success despite some challenging conditions. We had overcast conditions with rain much of the morning. Several nice fish were caught and the majority of teams caught fish. The exact results will be posted tomorrow as well as the point standings.

1st - Team Fishing Fever with 18+ lbs
2nd - Team Half Randino with 16+ lbs
3rd - Team Striper Sniper with 10+ lbs

I encourage all of you to come out the Belton Hybrid Tournament next month on May 15th. We will be having a fish fry directly after the tournament.

Thanks for the report, Alan. The wife and I were on Hwy 67 between Stephenville and Cleburn on the way back to Terrell from Dublin when we hit a torrential downpour with frogs and snakes and turtles mixed in - then I thought about you guys on Whitney and wondered how you all were "weathering" it. I figured you guys and gals got wet.

Yep we got a little wet. Thanks to. T-tops and rain gear wasn't too bad for us but for some I imagine it was challenging. One team had a 4 1/2 yr old young man and he was a trooper. I was watching them fish and he was casting his own pole. Of course, that young man earned a trophy from the TSA. It's great to see our young people out there fishing with us....

Thanks for all the hard work Alan. Had a great time even with the rain.

Here's a couple pics.
