Yeah I have been catching a lot of trout on corn and marsh mellows they bite good in the morning then around 2 in the afternoon. Stay by the road side of the pond there is a wooden fence that is the hot spot.

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day working.

Fished it the day of the stocking(1/4). Caught 4 that day using some pink power eggs by Berkley. Had one come off at the bank using a Mepps in-line spinner. Just the usual small (minnows) Trout. Fished the area closest to the st. between the wooden fence and the bridge. The guy next to me caught a small channel catfish, maybe 10 or 12 inches using marshmallows.
Have fished it for Bass with no luck. Fishing buddy of mine says there are some in there though.
Plenty of small gills for kids to have some fun with.

I grew up in this neighborhood, and fished that pond for 15 years...before it was stocked with trout. I have caught every type of fish out of there...including bass and large mutant goldfish. The park was drained about 10 or 15 years ago when they did some remodeling of the spillway area. I know the report says bass were stocked in 96, but I cannot remember if it was drained before or after that. My gut says before, and that they restocked it after. The problem is everyone keeps what they catch there. I have seen many a bass taken home on a stringer by some children or whoever is fishing. I know this doesnt answer any questions definitely, but just thought I would throw that out there. Also, the pond on 183 and story was drained around 10 or so years ago as well, when they put those hippo statues in. dont know if it was restocked after.

I fished there today. Tons of tiny bluegill in there. Not one bass.

I did catch a nice 18-20" channel cat on a 1/16oz jig.

The last time I fished there, last year, the water was so polluted and nasty that I had to sanitize my pole afterwards.

Today it was much better.
