Hope everyone is ready for the next swap. This is my first host so I am hoping to get every slot filled.

"Spring Crappie Fishing" is here so the theme for this one is "Spring Dynamite". Just tie up your best Crappie Spawn jig.

Sign-up will begin tomorrow... "April Fools Day", April 1, 2010. The sign-up will close at 20 tyers, or April 14, 2010, 11:59pm, which ever comes first. We will add 2 alternates if more want to sign-up, just in case someone has to drop out. Just post with "sign me up" and I will add you to the list.

Mailing deadline will be May 15, 2010.

I will send a PM with my address to all the swappers on May 1, 2010.

This is a helpful hint from RedTopLady...
Just a suggestion. Please read the rules! Here are a few things after Hosting a few Swaps that might be helpful to check yourself on.

- Use large enough envelopes that the Host does not have to wrestle with them.
- Use enough postage so the Host does not have to add postage, remember, the jigs you send might weigh lighter than what is coming back to you. $1.75 is a good amount to use as return postage. Use stamps only and no metered mail on return envelopes.
- Use little bags for your jigs that are labeled or if you use toe tags make sure they are on and will not come off.

All the supplies needed for mailing and packaging are available at any Wal-Mart. I found the bubble mailers available there are easy to handle for the Host, you can buy a small one for return mailing and a little bit larger one to send to the Host. Make sure you put your return address on your return package.

Please post a pic of your jigs when you are ready to mail.
