Went out to lake stamford this evening to try to catch some shallow. Didn't find any shallow in the main lake so i went back to the bridge and found them in two feet of water in the cattails. I got many hookups but only managed to muscle out four jet black males from the thick cover. It should be really good for the next couple of weeks as the females begin to move in, if they havnt already. Spring is here

your welcome. I fish the lake at least once a week during the spawn so ill keep yall updated on the places where they are starting to spawn.
