My Fellow Fisherman,

My name is Michael Zmolik. Some of you may remember the free boat wrap that Skip Madura (with Blue Sky Graphics)was giving away at the Fort Worth boat show. I did not win that wrap, but did get the wrap at the Dallas boat show due to Skip's kind generousity. None of this would have been possible had Mark Howard with JC Outdoors not nominated me. Mark was the only person, in the fishing world whom knew I had lost my daughter, Chynna, at age 16 to a congenital heart defect in April of 2008. This boat wrap commemorates her story and our charity, Chynna's Helping Heart to help spread awareness about heart defects in children. Saw the boat as it was being wrapped up at the shop...ours was also being done at the same time. It really looked great. My prayers go out to you and your family. God has a purpose for all of us and I am sure he had a special purpose for your daughter. Keep your spirits up and know that she is always looking down with a smile. Take care and God Bless.

Michael the video on the website is an awesome tribute to your beautiful daughter. I'm so sorry for your loss and pray that your efforts save many young people from the grief that you and your family have endured.

Is there a link with pictures of the boat I did not see it on the site?

Micahel I don't know where to start. That was a very moving video. It just shows that through God's grace we can remember the things that are taken away from us and move on to help others with similar issues. God does have a plan for all of us and he has beautiful angel helping him now.

Brandon, thanks for the post. You are right, God does have a purpose for everything that happens to us in life. In time we will make a difference is someone else's life because of our efforts, I am confident of that. I hope your boat looks as great as ours. Tommy, thanks for the message. I tell you this has been the toughest experience I have ever been through by far. I try to take it one day at a time and follow God's lead. We will make a difference one day. By the way, I think I met you once when Rockwall Marine fixed my lower engine on my boat several years ago. Boat looks great Michael, good to see you on the water Friday. My son Jeremy who was with me was impressed with the wrap, I shared with him the story of Chynna and how the boat got wrapped.
Thanks so much to Blue Sky Graphics for there selfless giving of this wrap and helping the message go forth about juvenile heart defects.

FYI Guys there will be a very special awareness tournament event on Saturday September 4th at Lake Fork to raise awareness about juvenile heart defects and about the early detection of these defects that can change your loved one's lives.

I know Dina and I am so sorry for your loss... I have spoke with Dina before and my daughter has had some of the same things as Chynna's conditons.. She has been tested and all is good now.. I have been in the lumber business for years and supplied lumber to some Zmoliks over the years and want you to know that even though I never met Chynna She has touched our familes heart and we are planning on volunterring at the next event in Forney.. Dina said something about a benefit tourney coming up PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN THIS WILL BE..

I couldn't begin to know how the loss of a daughter could feel. I have four girls and they are all precous.

We had our second meeting today to discuss the event coming up Saturday September 4, 2010.
This will become an annual awareness event on Lake Fork each labor day Saturday. Our next step will be to secure sponsors for this event. Elkhartdom we will be in touch. J C Outdoors Bass Trails will conduct the tournament end of this event.
