Sounds like to me he has "earned" this oppurtunity, it wasn't awarded to him or given to him. When things are accomplished in life, hard work is often overlooked and instantly someones success is only because they have money or are taken care of. The kid may have someone that pays his tournaments but that doesn't take away his success at earning a spot to fish with the best.

A top ten in his second Elite tournament would be a heck of a accomplishment. All the guys at this level have crazy skills. Being in the top 10% or so year isn't easy no matter how much cash you have backing you.

In my opinion, what you have is the first Bradley Roy. I have never been a person to compare someone else to another person. Kind of like saying Lebron James is the next Michael Jordon. Lebron. Each person is their own person

Like the way you put that. Never did agree with comparing someone to another person. Let them be recognized for themselves and what they have accomplished. KVD has accomplished a lot and deserves to be recognized for it. This kid has a good start to accomplish a lot. If he makes it that is great but don't measure his accomplishments by whether he is doing as good (or better) than KVD or any other angler.
