Is night fishing very productive in pre-spawn / early spawn?

Like this time of year.

I dont know about early spawn, but there was a guy a month or so ago giving advice on how to night fish in the winter time. He was very sucessful. Im sure that night fishing can be good. But i have never done it.

Yes it's good now and the warmer the water gets the better it will be. Find some water 58-61 degrees and the spinner-bait bite will be fantastic.

A Lot of Bass spawn at night under the Full Moon too.

I just started throwing chatterbaits and was thinking of slow rolling a big black, or black / blue chatterbait.

Just thinking all that vibration would be good, and really didnt discover how productive a chatterbait could be until recent.

I just about exclusively threw jigs and spinnerbaits at night.
