Fishing Goals for 2010?

With Spring around the corner, I'm curious...what are everyone's fishing goals for 2010?
me...
1. Learn to flip and pitch like a grown-up
2. Catch a 9+ on the Delta this spring
3. Make it back to Lake Fork to fish at least once in the Fall (I'm out West)
4. Get my gear right (done, I think)
5. Spend more time on the water and less in tackle stores.
Thought it'd be worth asking y'all...

1)Improve my jig fishing
2)1 Fish over 5lbs.
3)Get off the bank and learn some structure.

4. teach my 2 year old how to cast and reel. I can't wait!

I would like to fish smart and catch 15+lb sacks more consistantly.
Also, be more organized with my tackle and boat.

OFTEN I will fish what I think should work for way to long, or all day for that matter. This year I'm going to better at evaluating what I'm doing each hour, or more frequently, when something isn't working. Then make the neccesary changes so I can leave the lake knowing I did everything I could.
I went out a couple of days ago and threw jigs, several plastics of different shapes and weights, traps, cranks, and chatterbaits. Didn't do well at all, but the year before I would of just flipped a flappin hog all day b/c that should of worked. I left the lake konwing I did everything I could of and I just wasn't good enough that day, instead of saying I should of could of done this. Feeling was even reinforced when a local posted on here that the fish just aren't normally where they are this time of year at this particular lake.
