Thanks for the info Al! I hit Joe Pool today but didn't have any luck. I did start to mark some fish in deep holes though.

Al thanks for the report, I’ve wanted to get out there but have been handicapped with some stitches in my foot I hope to have out Wed. I fish DC allot but I’m not familiar with the feeder creek names. Which is Hen creek?

well I dont know exactly how many miles it is from the ramp...
but its after 377 bridge.....its the only feeder creek on the left you can take a big boat up into....

I do know that if you should pass up hen creek. within a few minutes you will be as far up the creek as you can get in a boat. which is another good spot.

thursday we did not get any bites all the way up the creek so came back to hen creek. theres a mudline at the mouth of hen.

always is... its a little clearer in there....but not much room for more than one boat unfortunately

Thanks Al. I have a one man pontoon with a trolling motor. At best I get 3 mph out of it so getting past 377 from the trophy club ramp is quite a long ride but I may try it next Monday or Tuesday.

I used Google earth and traced from the ramp at trophy club to 377 and got 3.50 miles. A while back I traced from the ramp to 35w and I think it was a little over 13 miles.

I walked the trail West from 377 yesterday. I came to a small feeder creek. I didn't go way up the creek but I wasn't able to find a way across. It also didn't look wide enough to get a boat in. The water was fairly clear/green. Is Hen creek farther up? Is there another way to get there on foot?
