Does anyone have any suggestions for Fork with water temps so low. Serious.... not just to stay home. We will be there Monday and Tuesday.

Fish should be pre staging upon Birch, and more north.

I like Birch this time of year, throw a red rattle trap. If that dont work, move to a crankbait you like.

Its gonna be tough.

Features "Bullcrap Technology" as seen on TV!

Well with the water being so cold traps are ok, but a suspending jerk bait can get you bit. Locate some deep grass or over creeks/ditches in 7-10 ft would work best you want your bait not to move after the jerks to get it down. Let it set for about 10 seconds min and try 20-30 seconds on the pause and see what happens. I know it feels like it takes for ever setting there but sometimes when you find just how long they want you to make it set then it is game on ! Best colors are gold and black with orange bellies. Now another thing you can do is throw them along side boat houses next to deep water. If one has depper water or a creek or ditch near by it can be killer. Be patient and work it slow. Square bill cranks will work also with a stop and start action. Try the backs of Mustang,Little Mustang,Williams, and White Oak all are very good this time of year and they block lots of wind. Hope this helps you. Good Luck !
