Pradco bought the name, so if you see anything new with that label on it, it's not the same as the old stuff.

The founder of MadMan Lures, Darren Mooneyham, has been in the hospital since a major car accident on December 13th. He was involved in a head on accident on his way to Lake Falcon. His wife set up an online site at caringbridge to keep everyone up to date on his status. The last update was on the 7th and they hoped to take him home today, the 13th of Feb. Hopefully that happened today.

eek2 Wow I had no idea. From the few encounters I have had with Darren, he is a very nice guy. I wish the best for him and his family. Darren is a TFFer and if he or his family is reading... please let us know if there is anything we can do to help now or in the future.

That scares me pretty good as we had a very similar close call heading home from a tournament in that same area. Prayers are with you Darren.

Not for sure but I think I read somewhere that a law suite over infringements with his product and another started the down fall of Mad Man Lures. Shame if that is true since he was a very nice guy and I really liked his baits. I only have a few of his extra large craws.

The law suit was with YUM. They copied his Tube craw exactly.

When Darrin gets better you can call him and still get some of the baits. As he still has some in the warehouse unless he has sold or gotten rid of them since the last time we talked which was well before his wreck. I have bought several hundred bags of a certain few and I belive I have bought all he had in a few colors.

I wish him and his family the best!!!

Ouch, a broken hip. I wish him a speedy recovery from all his injuries.

I owe him a big thanks. I have LOTS of good memories from lots of big fish on his baits. By far one of the best bed fishing baits out there.
