Do you have to be at the meeting to fish next saturday or can you show up at the ramp.

Thanks Z19, but I think I am going to make a switch to a Center Console sometime after this summer. Upgrade to a bigger motor and boat from 18 1/2 to 20ft

Looks like we're launching from Pond Creek this go round. Fishing time on the 27th will be first safe light +8hrs. If you were not at the meeting tonight and plan to join at the ramp you'll need to pay a 50.00 membership fee per person. After fishing three consecutive tournaments 40.00 will be refunded back to you. Final reminder, no more than 5 fish in your live well at any time.

Also voted on in the meeting March Tournament will be on Sunday the 21st on Ray Bob.

Were going to be fishing 2 tourneys at raybob the 27th and march 21st witch is on a sunday. Remember you can join at ramp but its gonna cost you more.this was voted on at meeting.

Ray Bob is now off limits to pre-fishing.

February was actually harder (but warmer) than January. At least we didn't get skunked for the tournament.

March will be better. We're fishing Ray Bob again on Sunday the 21st. Next meeting time and date TBD but will be posted here and on the club website.

We were all over the place. It would be easier to say we didn't run north of Wolf Island or up into Johnson Branch. We fished in 20ft of water, 5 ft of water and everything in between. Two half-hearted bites all day.

On the good side of things we found some patches of grass where I didn't know there was any previously.

Hydrilla is trying to make a comeback at Ray Rob. Glad to see it too.

I've seen a lot of milfoil coming back but haven't seen any hydrilla in a couple years. If we have good water levels this year it will be back to where it was before the flood by next year.

I expect with the influx of more boats grass will spread around the lake a little more quickly and hopefully some more hydrilla will be dumped in.
