I Never,
I never caught Hybrids, Stripers, Black Bass, Blues nor Flat heads that big – Maybe an occasional Sword Fish, but never a Crappie.
Come on Get Real - what kind of Hybrid Crappie is that half black crappie - half Sword Fish?

Largest Crappie I ever saw was caught from White Rock lake around 1973. My dads friend caught him off a trotline. I was only around 11 but to this day I remember her weighing a tad over 3 1/2lbs.

I'm ready to go Monster Hunting. Late March Mack? Yeah Buddy. I wanna see someone catch another one of those monsters. I was talking to my brother again last Friday and he's gonna start hitting the barge. He's a lot like Ernest. He's got that built in scent that draws crappie to him.

i posted pics of my PB back last year.. 2.7 @ 17 inches.. that weight was the next day after spending the night on ice, beautiful black male all dark from spawning. NEVER should have put the knife to that fish. i have caught several 17 inchers but that was the heaviest and by far the prettiest.
