I don't know how I missed this. Can we have a mud-bug category?? If so, put me down for a coupla sacks of bugs. T-Man, I just spoke with the gal in charge of Pavilions and us Grapevine residents get a resident discount of $315 opposed to you Hi-Falootin Southlakers paying $355. It ain't much difference, but $40 is $40 dollars. It could go in the kitty or towards the kids. What say??

I can only get the resident discount mentioned above, same as JP. I don't have the clout for any freebies or further discounts...$315 per the "Voice behind the phone". I don't know her, but by the sound of her voice, I'd say, she been working there since 19'oh-3.

I just reserved the Jackson Pavilion on Lake Grapevine for 4/17/10. That's in your backyard. You plan on crawling home?? Nice pick, they have done a LOT of expensive work at Meadowmere!! Good place to beach boats too for those bringing theirs. NOTE FOR THOSE DRIVING ON KIMBALL AVENUE THE SPEED LIMIT IS 35MPH, NOT 36, BUT 35MPH!

concerning the chili, what are the rules? no chunks or fillers (such as beans)? ground meat only? any vegatables must be cooked down? the last chili cookoff rules were this way... Same question... Will this be along the lines of the CCA Chili Cookoff last fall? Whats goin on with the chili cookoff? I assume cook at home and bring a crockpot? Beans? Etc... Depending on the job and/or money situation, I may try to get out there for the chili and maybe the bean categories.
