I don't know how I missed this. hammer

Can we have a mud-bug category?? If so, put me down for a coupla sacks of bugs. food

T-Man, I just spoke with the gal in charge of Pavilions and us Grapevine residents get a resident discount of $315 opposed to you Hi-Falootin Southlakers paying $355. It ain't much difference, but $40 is $40 dollars. It could go in the kitty or towards the kids.

What say?? thumb

Yep, JP actually reserved the pavilion last year for us, so we got the discount.

You know her? Any chance you can get us a discount?

I can only get the resident discount mentioned above, same as JP.

I don't have the clout for any freebies or further discounts...$315 per the "Voice behind the phone". I don't know her, but by the sound of her voice, I'd say, she been working there since 19'oh-3. scared

Just talked with Dawn from CCA.

They are going to have this on the Camp Craig Allen website pretty quick. Looks like you boys may take a whoopin from the champ in front of a lot of folks. grin

That's in your backyard. You plan on crawling home?? rolfmao

Nice pick, they have done a LOT of expensive work at Meadowmere!! Good place to beach boats too for those bringing theirs.

NOTE FOR THOSE DRIVING ON KIMBALL AVENUE THE SPEED LIMIT IS 35MPH, NOT 36, BUT 35MPH!

Just so everyone knows, the Jackson Pavilion is on the North side of the lake. As soon as you cross the dam, take the very first left turn into the park, and the guard will point you to our setup.

Same question... Will this be along the lines of the CCA Chili Cookoff last fall?

Whats goin on with the chili cookoff? I assume cook at home and bring a crockpot? Beans? Etc...

Depending on the job and/or money situation, I may try to get out there for the chili and maybe the bean categories.

Sorry yam...didn't see your post earlier.

The only rule is it has to taste good. You can put whatever you want in it, pour it from a can, and bring it from home already cooked. Just don't make anyone sick.

I'm pretty sure I can be there. I'll redeem myself from my pulled pork failure of last year, and I will walk home with the chili championship.
