10a-2:30p- conditions clear, windy, not really that cold LOTS of water all day. No people, no stripers, either. I was hooked up for about 3 sec's, maybe 6 bites between John & I all day. Only donated 5 jigs, 'course 1 had to be a Spro.... Bao, your pelican was there looking for you, something about a lawyer, personal injury, paperwork to sign, sqwak, sqwak. It's hard to understand a pelican w/ a speech impediment Brian, don't feel too bad. I know a guy that lost about 30 jigs in a few hours. How'd the surgery go Mr. Wilson, how long will you be out of comission for?

Oh ya! what a rod! I'm not gonna sugar-coat it, but this is THE ROD I've been looking for! I bet I made 75-80 casts yesterday, and when I got home I had ZERO fatigue in my shoulder. tip action is excellent. I can finally keep my bait "in the zone" that old heavy Lami had me needing a break about every 10 casts. I may shorten the butt about 2", and I definately need a lighter reel, but every expectation was met & worth the $$
Thank you, Roland for an excellent rod! also thanks to John ( Igotsnagged) for a fun day yesterday. I learned quite a bit. It's nice to come home w/ a few jigs left in the bag!!! Glad you like the rod. Did you pop it's cherry yet on a good fish? If you're fishing big poppers with that rod, you need to watch how Baosabi does it. Poetry in motion that is bordering on erotic! Not to mention good rhythm and energy conservation. Hehehe!

I'll be out for another month probably. sucks cus i know theres at least 1 fish in the water waiting to get hooked.

Gotta be careful with what I say I guess. Don't want to get another one close down. LOL
