oh i wasnt planning on taking my tube in the creek, i was gonna use it on the main lake on a few coves, if i ever fish the creek im gonna be banking it. I know how ferocious they get when they arent catching and i start pulling them out. Almost fell into the drink when a couple of guys literally pushed me out of my spot... splat

that is messed up.... I can understand the argument from both sides but still the man didn't know. Just let him have a warning and give him a ticket next time he get caught. Some police men are just jerks... Never seen them catching any lunatic on highway who blew by me time to time.. I feel for that guy and i also believe the state is doing this for money too.

I went out on Friday for a couple hours, I caught about 12 with 5 keepers. I lost 1 keeper as I lifted it out of the water. I was using pink and black jig bout 5' under a bobber.

Well hit the creek today about an hour before the rain and caught 15 with only 4 keepers. They were only down 2ft and chasing the shad to the top. Once the rain hit only caught two more but deeper. Then when it stopped, not even a bump so i left and the 4 crappie were let go. They are still in there but catching more smaller 10 1/2 and down there, then i ever have out there this year. Oh well it was good while it lasted, wont be much longer till the sandbass start running up the creek in big numbers

I was out there yesterday evening, and everyone around us were keeping everything they caught. I did see 1 guy throw fish back that were too small, but everyone else kept anything and everything ! At the bridge i could see from lawther someone throwing a throw net, i didn't even want to see what they were catching and keeping !

quick question. i bought some mr. crappie green 10lb monofillament line that i used last year for sandies. most people were mixed on what line was best. some say 4lb clear, some people said it was fine, some said 4lb green. i dont wanna continue to use the 10lb because it kills the fight. fish have no shot. 4lb would be cool, but i fish in a lot of areas with trees and roots and rocks so i waste more lures. any good info would help. i want to have more fun and fight5 longer, but i dont want my wife loosing 100 bucks worth of lures a day! lol let me know
