first time i have been on the lake in a long time. i was shocked!!!! i cantbelieve how low it was. and the water was murkey all over the lake, even the coves by the dam. fishing was tough also, no real pattern that I could find.a few on this a few on that... but still in shock at how low it is.

i heard all this rain brought it up only about 2 feet, still over 40ft low

New to the area and just getting ready to start fishing again. I live on the west side not too far from Medina and saw this thread. If there is water in the lake, where are the usual good places to fish? I will mainly be using a 9' dingy with a trolling motor. Don't need your secrets, just where I should point the boat. ;o)

Your main problem will be finding public access. Most areas around the lake are not accessable to the public (not like it used to be) and the only area you have available is the Park at the end of park road 37, and Red Cove near the dam which is where I would go if it were me.

If the Marina and docks are in the water that is where I would start!

Thats a pretty lake when full.Ive spent many summers down on the banks at Medina,its got more limestone topography than most. Beautiful!!!!We would catch bluegill then head to the river.
