I fished from about 8:30am until about noon. There was a heavy fog on the lake until around 10:30am. Water temp didn't get over 50 degrees anywhere on the lake. No wind. I didn't get a bite all day.

I started out with Rage Tail topwaters and poppin baits over the heavy vegetation on the southeast fork. The vegatation is REALLY thick towards where the lily pads are in the Summer. Threw a few different crankbaits, spinnerbaits and worms where I was able. NADA. Fished in waters up to 20 feet with deep divers and worms. NADA. I didn't even bother to go anywhere else.

Incredibly, I saw THREE otters together on the point of a creek channel. If my Wife had been with me, we could have taken some really good pictures. They let me approach within 20 yards before two went one direction and one went another.

As for fishing; I guess I'll give it another shot come Spring with warmer weather.
