has anyone tried this line yet? I have been using the seaguar invisX fluorocarbon for years now and love it. Just curious if anyone has tried this new kind from seaguar.

yes it is but its the only thing between me and that fish when it matters most so i dont mind spending a little more on line if it works or if I have confidence in it. I can see where some people wouldnt want to spend more on line so it goes both ways. I started going to reels with the bigger spools in them so that i wouldnt have to mess with filler and I am able to make my bulk spools last longer that way. I go through a lot of that in a year i wish i could get some kind of product deal with them because i really believe in the product and spend hundreds of dollars on that stuff every year

it is very expensive. but worth every penny. im using it right now for my drop shot and shakey head set up and like it alot. imo it humbles invis x. which for me that is saying alot because i absolutly love invisx. cant wait to get my next order in of the heavier line.

I haven`t tried the Tatsu, yet, but I like AbrazX better than InvizX. This stuff is tuffer than a rubber boot.

This line is amazing!!! Granted I was fishing a red rattle trap today but did catch 10 bass, all ranging from 2.2 to 5.4lbs.

This line is junk I fish invisx all the time and have no problems. I got some of this to test out 12 spools to be exact the first two no real problems the third and forth spools i broke off on 10 straight hook set. Thank God i was just pre fishing and not in a tournament. I love the feel of this line but have lost all faith in it. Stick with Invisx much better and a lot cheaper.

I tried the 20# line and its great, so I decided to try the 15# and at times it breaks off with little resistance. And some times it held up well. So I'm paying more attention to my knot now seeing if maybe its my fault. I use a Polamar, If you know of a better knot for Fluro please clue me in...

Everyone will tell you not to use a Polamar Knot that is wrong if you know how to tie them. I use it all the time and never have a problem. When i used the Tatsu it was not breaking at the knot.

Come on,surely someone can compare the Tatsu Fluoro to P line 100% fluro. Not trying to start an argument. Just curious as to how this new line compares to the line I use.

When you do the math Tatsu works out to be about 30 cents per yard, and Sunline Shooter works out to be about 37 cents per yard.

Shooter at 16 pound test and higher comes in 109 yard (100m) spools. It’s generally just enough to fill one Chronarch 100D spool. Curado 200E reels will take about 137 yards of this line. This would mean that you’d need to put about 30 yards of backing on a Curado for the Shooter. OTOH the Tatsu would allow you to fill two Curado 200Es if you put about 40 yards of backing on each.

It’ll be interesting to see if the 200 yard spools of Tatsu will work out for Seaguar.

I've tried P-line mono but never the P-line Flurocarbon....It's been a while since I tried the mono but it seemed to have a lot of memory and needed to be changed often...

Well, if you already have the Tatsu, then try the P line 100%. Give us your observations and comparisons re the 2 lines. The P line 100% costs 75% less and won't break.

O.K. Here's my quick review of the 20 lb. Tatsu. Very smooth with minimal memory for a flurocarbon. Retains these qualities for more than 1 use....but....not as strong as P line 100%. Won't buy it,again.
