I had some dealings with these people and didnt get paid,on two ocasions i did work for them.I didnt know they were Irish Travelers until after i performed the work on there houses in Whitesettlement.I knew it seemed odd,several familys that all seemed kin close together in all fairly new houses,all driving Escalades.Children in each of the familys all looked simular.I thought maybe a cult,so i did some checking to find they were Irish Travelers.I found some interesting things out about them.So beware doing any work for them.

A few Irish Travelers emigrated to America during the Potato Famine of the mid-19th century. Their 7,000-10,000 descendants still speak the secret Traveler language, a dialect alternately known as Shelta, Gammon, or Cant, which includes elements of Irish Gaelic, English, Greek, and Hebrew. They are also devout Roman Catholics who rarely marry outside the group. Their tightknit, insular clans spend the winters in such sunny locales as White Settlement, Texas, and Murphy Village, S.C., then hit the road come spring. Many U.S.-based Irish Travelers, including Toogood's husband, work as itinerant roofers, pavers, and painters.

They were in the news a few years back when an Irish travellers mom was caught on film beating the snot out of her toddler for messing up one of her scams.

never work for them

we used to get calls about their crummy roofing jobs all the time , when my office was over there (white settlement)

i actually cant believe they hired an outsider

Notorious for their scams. Because they are such a tight knit, they are hard to prosecute.
