Samjw90 Outdoorsman Registered: 12/01/09 Posts: 45 Loc: The Woodlands	ive seen schooling redfish once in Port o' Connor in the flats and it was awesome because we saw there tails sticking out of the water glimmering in the sun from probably about 100 yards away! once we hooked one, they followed it to the boat then scattered. Was this just because it was so shallow and clear? They were in 2-4 ft deep water!

The reason they followed your fish to the boat was because they are competitively feeding, they follow the fish who just ate their piece of food hoping to have him drop it and be there to pick it up.
