easy there, no need for emasculation. Reds schooling like that ain't all that hard to find, given the right time of year and a lack of a red tide bloom like we had this year. They eat pretty much anything that moves in front of their face - it's 'catch til you're tired of it' fishing.

ive seen schooling redfish once in Port o' Connor in the flats and it was awesome because we saw there tails sticking out of the water glimmering in the sun from probably about 100 yards away! once we hooked one, they followed it to the boat then scattered. Was this just because it was so shallow and clear? They were in 2-4 ft deep water!

The reason they followed your fish to the boat was because they are competitively feeding, they follow the fish who just ate their piece of food hoping to have him drop it and be there to pick it up.

I doubt you suck, you just have to spend a lot of time out on the water and just so happen to be in spot where the fish start schooling up.
