Fishing on Stillhouse has been real slow lately, I think it is because of the continuous water level dropping.
My experience is as soon as they close the gates and stop letting the water out, the bite should pick up in a week or so.
Just my opinion..
Good Luck.. thumb

i fished there this morning and had no luck at all. They have to be getting close to shutting it down, it is only about a foot high right now.

Don't think you are going to get much. Tuff Man is there in a week. Nov. 21.

I went back out to the spillway on Saturday 11/28. they are still letting water out and the fishing was great. I caught 15 white bass all in the 12 to 14 inch range and 1 blue cat. The guy fishing next to me had a limit of large mouths, a drum, and I think he had a limit on white bass. I also saw catfish and crappie caught that day. Get out there before they stop running the water.

hookdog02 were you fishing in the fast moving water or were you fishing down farther where the water slows down a bit? I went a few weeks ago and fished down on the rocks but i only caught one black bass.

I saw all the crappie being caught right by the wall at the discharge. I caught all of my fish where the water slows down a bit. The exact spot is parallel to the eroded part you have to step down to, in order to get to the bank. I had a 1/2 bank sinker on the bottom of the line with the hook 12 to 16 inches on top of that. Just make sure you cast toward the discharge and let the current take your bait. I tried casting to the exact spot that I was getting bit at; but that method did not produce any fish. Also I used medium sized minnows and the guy next to me used the large ones. The only difference was he would catch 2 or three largemouth to every white bass. Hope this helps.
