I did catch some Hybrids back in October, I do have some pics with my dad's 27.8" hybrid need to post it. He caught it on a Rapala *8 Original Shad-Rap. My son caught one that was 26.1" on a *8 Gold Shad-Rap. The water was really stained that weekend. How does the water look this week? We are going to try again Wed-Sun during this Thanksgiving week.

Live Bait, If you got those pictures.... try and post them. A 26" and 27" are both nice.

Went the other day about 2 pm with my fishing buddy Cully. Met MO and we talked a little then went looking for some hybrids .About an hour before dark we spotted some splashes .Got close and I was really suprised at the size of the hybrids that were slashing at the shad. Cully hooked two but lost both fish.He had too much drag and the hooks pulled loose. I threw a red eye shad and hooked up on a good fish which turn out to be the only fish we landed as the school shut down. I measured the fish from lips to fork of the tail and it was 27 inches. The pic doesnot really show thegirth as it was a fat one. Wish we had found the school earlier as I had told Mo that the hybrids in the school were really all big fish. Monday, cully and I went back to the same spot and caught six hybrids. The six fish averaged 4 -7 lbs. The fish were schooling but were not the big ones that were there the first time.

Congrats on a nice Hybrid, you have raised the bar on this and its going to take a mighty nice Hybrid to top that one. I will get this board updated today.

We need to add an inch or two to Gres's fish, since he only measured the fork length ( that's how they do it in salt water). Great fish , Gres , I found the item you returned to my dock , you should have kept it in the boat for emergencies , MO

That would be safe without over doing it. From looking at all the Hybrid pics i have, that sounds about right. Outstanding Hybrid!

The gulls showed me the way today. Saw them working some shad from the top and a mix of LMB, Sandies and Hybrids from the bottom. From about 4pm till dark caught 4 legal Hybrids up to 20" and a ton of smaller Hybrid/ Sandie mix including a handful of LMB. All in all a good afternoon.

Should have been here yesterday. , How often do you hear that ? Sunday , I had the whole south end of the lake to myself. I did not see another boat all morning, I fished under birds all morning. My counter had 30 on it when it was over, and I am sure I missed a few. They ranged from barely legal to get the net. I was chunking sassy shads and smack baits, and did not catch any sandbass, MO

A river scouting trip, Alright! Looks like the 3rd pic was near the fence, did you make it up to the campfire area? hows the trash looking, did the flood clean it out pretty good? 2 months left 'til some more nice stringers like the last pic!

You right its almost to the campfire area. Things look good up there. As for the trash ....most of it is around the bridge. As you know the deeper you get in the better. All the hot spots look good. It was nice to get out and hike in there.

Went out today late afternoon around 2:30pm. On my third cast I hook into a nice over 5 pounder. Just over 23". Thought it was going to be a great day, but not another bite after this one. CD
