Me and some friends are going up to Lake Ray Roberts this Saturday. Does anybody have any good ideas on where to fish for black bass on the lake? I've never fished Lake Ray Roberts and hoping for a good time....I have a boat but I'm always going to Lake Grapevine.

Any advice would be great.

I have a map of the lake and there are several submerged roads, RR tracks, Ruins and stock ponds, yet I have never seen anyone say fish around any of those, why is that? I have never been on the lake but wiul be Saturday for a club tourny and that type structure jumped out at me. Are those just part of the various coves, etc so they are included in those suggestions like Rudy's?

because a lot of people dont have a map,and if you suggest these spots, then they would say how do I find these spots. If you can find them by all means fish them

all of these are good at rr lot of what you mention there are deep & i think most people fish less than 15', the timber & rocks &grass all look good and there is fish there. i fish lot of roads (bend in road)I catch lot of these fish 20'-35' range

He's saying, concentrate in the creeks - doing that didn't do me any good yesterday - got skunked.

With the water as high as it was....had some good luck at the Lake Roberts Marina this last Saturday afternoon....in the back coves when you pull in the marina.....caught 5 2-5 lb bass by this beaver looking structure that was built.....
